Recycling Newspapers helping Students

A group of dedicated ladies from the NSW south coast towns of Narooma & Potato Point have been recycling newspapers into carry bags which they sell to shopping outlets, the profits being donated to Asha to help provide educational needs for the students in rural Nepal.  Lorraine and her wonderful volunteers have been supporting Asha since 2012 and over $2,500 has been donated to Asha which has enabled us to buy school backpacks, books and pencils for the students.

This would have to be the ultimate recycling story - a newspaper being made into a bag which is then helping impoverished children in Nepal - now you have got to love that.

From everyone at Asha a huge Thank You to Lorraine and her team.
