New wheelchair for Manisha

On a recent trip to Nepal our Asha team were able to take a new wheelchair to Kathmandu for Manisha.  A request for a new chair with leg supports had be requested by Dr. Kalpana Basnet head of the SERC School which Manisha attends.  Unfortunately a suitable chair could not be sources in Nepal so one was purchased in Sydney.

Manisha requires her legs to be elevated at least 4 hours a day and the new chair can provide that for her.  Along with the chair we suprised Manisha with a toy kangaroo and a book, her delight in receiving these gifts was truly heartwarming.
